Grants & Communications
The Office of Grants and Communications secures funding from foundations, corporations, Church-based agencies, religious communities and organizations/groups in order to assist diocesan offices, agencies, schools, institutions and parishes in providing education, parish and social services as the Catholic Church in southern Illinois. The office is also responsible for prospect research, administration of grant funds, required financial and project reporting to funding entities and grant-related public relations activities.
Advice/assistance with researching, proposal preparation/editing and reporting is provided, on a limited basis, to parishes, schools and other groups that wish to seek grant funding.
The office assists with promoting the Church's charitable efforts by providing information to diocesan departments, agencies/offices, parishes, schools, institutions, groups and the general public through the practice of professional public relations activities.
