PERSONNEL
Substitute Teacher - Requirements
All Substitute Teachers are required to have the following information on file with the Office of Education prior to being a Substitute Teacher in any school in the Diocese of Belleville:
- Completed Diocesan Educator application form;
- Official Transcript showing a minimum of 60 semester hours;
- Verification of completion of the Initial Child Protection Policy Training or if completed, then completion of the Refresher Course;
- Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System form – CANTS
- Fingerprint Background Screening with Accurate Biometrics, specifically for the Diocese of Belleville, or through a Regional Office of Education within the Diocese of Belleville;
- Acknowledgment of Mandated Reporter Status form.
