Human Trafficking Awareness
January is designated as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month here in the United States. This month provides special impetus to increase awareness and action about human trafficking. Pope Francis has stated: “Human trafficking is a crime against humanity. We must unite our efforts to free victims and stop this crime that’s become ever more aggressive, that threatens not just individuals, but the foundational values of society.” Read more on the Project Irene website!
