It is the intention of the Diocesan Board of Education that approval for placement on the +15 level be limited to such courses as will clearly contribute to the individual’s teaching effectiveness. In those cases where the course is not in one’s content teaching field (where such a term is applicable) or is not well recognized as an advance course in methodology, the individual’s academic background and the relation of the course to his/her teaching assignment are to be considered in granting or withholding approval.
Credits earned to satisfy the requirements for the standard state teaching licenses will not be used to qualify for B.S. or B.A. +15 levels. Credits earned for additional endorsements will be used to qualify for B.S. or B.A. +15 levels.
