PERSONNEL
Teachers - Requirements
All full-time and part-time teachers are required to have the following information on file with the Office of Education prior to teaching in any school in the Diocese of Belleville.
An Employment Agreement shall not be binding on Parish School unless and until Candidate/Employee shall furnish to the satisfaction of the Principal and the Diocesan Office of Education the following:
- Complete Diocesan Educator Application form;
- The proper Illinois Professional Educator’s License for the position to be held;
- A Transcript showing the Educational record and training of the Employee;
- Verification of completion of the Initial Child Protection Policy Training or if completed, then completion of the Refresher Course;
- Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System form – CANTS;
- Fingerprint Background Screening with Accurate Biometrics, specifically for the Diocese of Belleville
