Parish and Local Board Responsibilities in Adult Education
Every parish, through the structure of the Parish Pastoral Council, shall offer Adult Faith Formation opportunities. Adult faith formation, “concerns persons who have a right and a duty to bring to maturity the seed of faith sown in them by God” (General Directory for Catechesis). The organization, substance and format of adult faith formation must be consistent with the General Directory for Catechesis, and the National Directory for Catechesis.
