Elementary Principal - Time Distribution
The ultimate aim of the principal is to provide Catholic educational leadership in the total school community. In order to perform this responsibility, he or she must have the time allotted.
Schools with eight (8) or more full-time teachers or full-time equivalent shall have a full-time principal. Schools with less than eight (8) full-time teachers are to have a principal who is available for at least half of the school day for administrative responsibilities.
Requests for exceptions to the above must be made in writing and submitted to the Office of Education for approval.
