Hincke-Sense Home Residence for Retired Priests
The Hincke Residence is a 13 - apartment, independent living facility built in 1984 and maintained through the legacy of Charles & Bertha Hincke of Pinckneyville, IL. The Sense Annex, an 8 - apartment independent living facility adjoining the Hincke Residence, was built through the generosity of Reverend Joe Sense.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville, IL, operates both facilities for retired priests of the Belleville Diocese.
The Apartments in the Hincke-Sense Residence are available for rent by Roman Catholic priests from other dioceses and religious orders with the approval of their local Ordinary or Religious Superior.
The facility is endowed through the generosity of the Hincke Family & Father Joe Sense.
The Hincke-Sense Residence is located on the grounds of the Belleville Diocesan Pastoral Center. The property is scenic, with area to walk and enjoy the beautiful, spacious grounds and small lake.
