Retirement and Health Insurance Benefits

Retirement Plan

A person must work 1,000 hours and be employed for one full year before becoming eligible for employer contributions in the retirement plan.  Employees can begin making an elective deferral (employee contributions) from the first day of employment so long as they meet eligibility as defined by the Plan Document.  Regulation 4146 provides a comprehensive overview of the retirement plan.

Health Insurance Plan

An employee must work at least 1,500 hours per year in order to be eligible for enrollment in the Diocesan health insurance plan.
